Wild Safe BC is an educational program designed to prevent and reduce conflicts between people and wild animals including bears in our communities. Please check BEAR SMART also.

The Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival celebrates the beauty & biodiversity of the Fraser River Valley by honouring the majestic Bald Eagle & the Cycle of the Salmon. The festival takes place the third weekend in November.

In Electoral Area “F” we have amphibian species at risk. BC Frogwatch is a program to collect frog and toad population information. On the website there is info on identifying amphibians, surveying for frogs and toads, and how to report your findings.
